MAD impact uses research as a method to optimize functioning in organizations and to stimulate learning. We develop a tailor-made offer for all kinds of questions about social impact. This can be done in the form of research, training or advice.

Below are some examples of our work:

So, what is it we´re working on? Together with the client, we systematically map out why you do what you do, what you want to achieve with it, for whom, and how you approach this in practice. This results in a Theory of Change.

Are we really on the right track? How do you know and measure whether you achieve what you want to achieve? And which methods do you want to use for this? Research is about being curious, being open to new insights, systematically searching for what is going well and what can be done better.

Hey, did we actually achieve that? At the end of a project, you naturally want to know what it has brought about. What are the (un)intended effects and what do they mean for those involved? We conduct qualitative and quantitative (evaluation) research, with a focus on participation and learning for both the organization and the target group.

Yes, I´ve been saying that all along! Data and knowledge are only useful if they are practically applicable. A lot of knowledge and experience is implicit and often remains unused. That’s a shame. How can you use existing and newly acquired knowledge to make your work better and more enjoyable? How can knowledge turn into permanent learning?

Good, what do you mean good? Quality is not an unambiguous concept and it depends on the perspective you choose. You may need different indicators, instruments and assessment criteria for different stakeholders. MAD impact can help find and develop the right underlying quality framework.
